Our mission was to create an information system that will organize a company’s broad spectrum of different projects currently being worked upon. Using this information with the help of data analytics we are able to make decisions that better a certain department which in turn will help the company as a whole. The department we had focused on has different aspects to what makes up a project. Whether you look at the parts, tools, or employees each is vital to finishing the project. We had created multiple reports based off the information in our database which allows management to make decisions on projects. This information can be used by three different levels of employees, which information you have access to depends on your position level. Whether it is decisions on buying options for part for the current project or looking up co-workers working alongside you on a project this information can be vital to all workers of the company. This information system will allow the company further organization with its employee’s and day to day operations for completing projects.
